What is a custom album?
If you're old enough, you remember what a complete multi-sensory experience an album was. You could hold that huge jacket in your hands while listening to the vinyl record. You could absorb the information while the music played, and you'd know, after a few times, all the songs in the right order
Well, the iPod and its kind have pretty much done a number on the album. Now people think in terms of libraries or playlists. Yet the music industry still likes albums and, therefore, musicians still produce them.
All this got me to wondering: What would my fans put together in an album if they could? The Custom Albums option, when implemented, will ask that very question. And customers who answer it will get their album delivered on a customized CD with their chosen songs and a special design. So browse our song library and let us know what you think!
