In the beginning...

Aislinn was born during a time when blind people were expected to be musicians, piano tuners, or medical transcriptionists. So, because she had the talent, Aislinn became a musician. Like many others, she began her career in church, later expanding her performances to conventions, events, and public venues. She loves the immediacy of street music and can often be found around Seattle, harp on her lap, bringing a touch of Heaven to the city's streets.

The Music of Aislinn the Bard

Besides being an accomplished instrumentalist, Aislinn is a witty and erudite songwriter. Whether it's inspirational or whimsical, her lyrics are deft and nuanced, her melodies compelling. Delivered with a voice reminiscent of Joan Baez or Judy Collins, her songs teach and cajole in the gentlest of ways.
